From first sketch to the App Store and Google Play: customer apps, team tools and companions to the systems you already run. Honestly scoped, built in visible milestones, and yours to keep.
What we build
A good app does one job well, and does it faster than the alternative. We start with the job: who it is for, what they need to do in the first minute, and what a good result looks like. Then we design and build around that.
Typical features
What goes into your app depends on the job. These are the building blocks we reach for most often.
Sign-in that suits your users, with permissions so people only see what they should.
Timely reminders, approvals and updates, sent only when they matter.
Work that carries on when the signal drops and syncs when it returns.
Capture photos, scans and signatures straight into the right record.
Check-ins, routes and nearby results, where location genuinely helps.
The same orders, bookings and customer data as your website and back office.
Honest advice
A store app is not always the answer. When a mobile-friendly web tool will do the job it is quicker to build and cheaper to maintain, and we will say so.
| Mobile-friendly web app | Installable web app (PWA) | Store app (iPhone & Android) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best when | Occasional use, and nothing to install | Frequent use with simple device needs | Heavy daily use, device features, or a store presence |
| How people get it | A link | A link, then add to the home screen | App Store and Google Play listings |
| Device features | Basic | Some | Full: camera, notifications, background tasks |
| Cost to build and keep | Lowest | Low | Higher: store reviews and phone updates to keep up with |
From idea to store listing
A free scoping call and a short workshop to define who the app is for, what it must do first and how we will measure success.
Clickable screens you can try on your own phone before any real code is written.
We build in visible milestones and share test builds you can install and try as we go.
We handle store submission under your developer accounts, then keep the app updated, monitored and compatible as phones change.
FAQ
Yes. We plan every app for both stores, and we will tell you honestly if a web app would serve you better.
Every app is quoted after a short discovery, because scope varies enormously. You approve a fixed scope and price before we build anything, and we are upfront about the running costs too: hosting, any paid services the app uses, and your store developer accounts.
That depends on scope and integrations. We agree the timeline in the scoping call and deliver in visible milestones, so you see working screens early instead of waiting for one big reveal.
You do. Your code, data and accounts stay yours, and apps are published under your own Apple and Google developer accounts. If you ever leave, we hand over access and documentation.
Apple and Google charge their own developer-account fees, paid directly by you for an account that you own. We explain the current fees and the review process when we scope the project.
Usually, yes. Apps often sit on top of the same data as your website or business systems: orders, bookings, customer records and dashboards. We check what you run today during discovery and tell you honestly what is practical.
Yes. Data is processed only to run the features you asked for, kept in accounts you own, and handled in line with POPIA.
